Fire Training Made Simple, Safe, and Cost Effective

The introduction of BullEx Digital and Live Fire Training Systems at the Rio Tinto Paraburdoo Western Australia facility has proven an award winning initiative for the site training officer.

The Rio Tinto Not Invented Here award recognises staff who don’t reinvent the wheel but, who actively adopt or adapt good ideas to get improved results. The training officer at Paraburdoo, 300km SSE of Dampier Western Australia, recently won this award for integrating a BullEx Intelligent Training System package into the practical fire training at the facility resulting in a 93% reduction in fire extinguisher training costs.

Using an I.T.S.:

- Trainers found that the fire is controlled by a hand held unit with built-in fail safes

- Provided greater flexibility as training can be undertaken anywhere on site and also undercover

- No extra PPE is required

- Reduces participants having to leave their work area to undergo training
