"The acquisition of the BullEx Fire Extinguisher Training System by CFA Region 14 in August 2007 has significantly increased CFA’s ability to deliver fire extinguisher training to the community. In the twelve months prior to the acquisition of the BullEx System, CFA Region 14 delivered twelve sessions to 274 individuals, however a number of sessions were not able to undertake the practical component of the training due to unfavourable weather conditions (wind, rain or both) or the inability of an organisation to provide a safe outdoor area. Between August 2007 and June 2008, 36 sessions to 489 individuals have been delivered to a variety of community sectors. All sessions have been able to include the practical component of the training using the Bullex equipment.

Feedback from participants has been excellent and participation rates have increased significantly since the introduction of the Bullex equipment. Weather conditions or suitable outdoor locations are no longer a factor in the provision of the practical component of fire extinguisher training.

Another major benefit to the community that has arisen since the introduction of BullEx equipment is there is now no charge for the provision of fire extinguisher training. This has been of enormous benefit to many of the smaller businesses and community based organisations allowing their members to receive fire extinguisher training."
